Our pathway to aesthetics is a course designed for those that do not have the insurance-mandated 6-month needle experience. You can start this 6-day course and upon successful completion, you will be commercially competent to start offering your treatments to your clients. You will have the option to upskill and add Foundation Anti-Wrinkle and Foundation Filler after 6 months of needle experience for an additional £1,499.
Option A (Choose 2 max, others extra):
In a pathway to aesthetics course, you’ll have the opportunity to explore and master several highly effective injectable treatments.
Mesotherapy involves injecting small amounts of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients into the skin to improve its overall health and appearance. This treatment helps to nourish the skin, boost collagen production, and enhance skin texture, making it a versatile solution for various concerns such as hydration, fine lines, and uneven skin tone.
Skin boosters are another injectable treatment using hyaluronic acid. By injecting hyaluronic acid into the skin, skin boosters provide deep hydration, improve skin elasticity, and enhance radiance. They are particularly effective in rejuvenating dry, dull, and dehydrated skin, giving it a plumper, more youthful appearance.
PDO mono threads are delicate threads made of polydioxanone (PDO) that are inserted under the skin to create a lifting and tightening effect. These threads stimulate collagen synthesis and tissue contraction, resulting in improved skin firmness and a subtle lifting of sagging areas. PDO mono threads are commonly used to address concerns such as facial sagging, jawline contouring, and neck rejuvenation.
The derma pen is a micro-needling device that uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This process stimulates collagen and elastin production, leading to skin rejuvenation and improved texture. The derma pen is effective in reducing the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles, as well as promoting an overall more youthful complexion.
By including these treatments in your pathway to aesthetics training, you’ll gain comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in performing these injectable procedures. Mastering mesotherapy, skin boosters, PDO mono threads, and the derma pen will allow you to offer a wider range of aesthetic solutions, address various concerns, and deliver excellent results to your clients.
Option B (1 max included others are extra):
Chemical peels involve applying a solution to the skin, which causes the top layers to peel off, revealing smoother, brighter skin underneath. These peels can improve skin tone, reduce hyperpigmentation, and minimize the appearance of fine lines and acne scars.
Fat dissolve treatments, also known as lipolysis or injection lipolysis, involve injecting a solution into localized fat deposits, which breaks down the fat cells. This treatment is effective for reducing the appearance of stubborn fat pockets in areas such as the chin, abdomen, and thighs.
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive exfoliation technique that uses a handheld device to gently remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture. It can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, sun damage, acne scars, and uneven skin tone.
High-frequency facials, such as the popular Hydrafacial, utilize a specialized device that delivers a combination of cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant infusion to the skin. This treatment is highly effective in improving skin clarity, reducing congestion, and enhancing overall skin health.
Microcurrent facials, also known as non-surgical facelifts, use low-level electrical currents to stimulate facial muscles and improve muscle tone. This treatment helps lift and tighten the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and promoting a more youthful complexion.
Skin specialist facials target specific skin concerns such as acne, sun damage, and dehydration. These facials are customised to address the unique needs of individuals with these specific conditions. Acne facials often include deep cleansing, exfoliation, and the use of specialized products to reduce inflammation, unclog pores, and promote skin healing. Sun-damaged skin facials focus on repairing sun-induced damage, such as pigmentation irregularities and premature aging, through the use of brightening agents, antioxidants, and sun protection. Dehydrated skin facials provide intense hydration and moisture replenishment to restore the skin’s natural balance and improve elasticity.
By incorporating these non-injectable treatments into your pathway to aesthetics training, you’ll expand your expertise in various skincare techniques. Mastering chemical peels, fat dissolve procedures, microdermabrasion, high-frequency facials, microcurrent facials, and specialized facials will enable you to offer a comprehensive range of non-invasive solutions to address specific skin concerns and enhance overall skin health.
Choosing a pathway to aesthetics course that includes Option A or Option B will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in the field of aesthetics. By building your expertise in these treatments, you’ll be able to offer a wider range of services, tailor your approach to meet individual client needs, and deliver exceptional results. Whether you choose to focus on injectables like mesotherapy, skin boosters, PDO mono threads, and the derma pen (Option A) or non-injectables like chemical peels, fat dissolve, microdermabrasion, high-frequency facials, microcurrent facials, and skin specialist facials (Option B), you’ll be equipped with the tools to provide effective and personalized aesthetic solutions.
By completing a pathway to aesthetics course that includes these treatments, you’ll establish yourself as a well-rounded and knowledgeable practitioner, capable of addressing diverse client concerns and delivering high-quality skincare treatments.
