MEET OUR MANAGING DIRECTOR & LEAD TUTOR - Kirsty Watson MBA, CMgr FCMI

PhD Candidate | Aesthetics Practitioner | Entrepreneur | Business Strategist

Kirsty’s professional career within hair, beauty and aesthetics spans more than 25 years.

She began working within the hair industry in 1998, expanded into beauty and laser treatments in 2010, and has worked within injectable aesthetics and semi-permanent make-up since 2014.

Alongside her extensive industry experience, Kirsty holds an MBA, is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute – CMgr FCMI – and is a PhD candidate in Business and Management, researching entrepreneurship.

Her background also includes web design, multimedia, digital marketing, education, leadership and business development.

Kirsty’s experience extends beyond Qualia. She was headhunted to serve as a Co-opted Non-Executive Board Director with the National Hair & Beauty Federation, is Chair of Cloverleaf Advocacy, and has held numerous trustee, board and governance roles across professional and charitable organisations.

She was also recognised as the Chartered Management Institute Volunteer of the Year 2023.

This combination of industry, business, academic and governance experience influences the way Qualia teaches.

Training

Training Courses

We provide training in various locations for a variety of aesthetics treatments. Our trainers specialise in non surgical cosmetic enhancements and advanced skin condition treatments.

You will gain expert tacit knowledge on both how to superficially enhance your clients features, along with how to treat their conditions.

Our trainers are Ofqual qualified in teaching, with our lead tutor and quality assurer being Level 5 qualified Tutor, assessor and IQA who is the owner of an apprenticeship training provider.

Our lead tutor is also NVQ and Ofqual qualified in beauty and has 15 years plus of experience in Aesthetics.

Dermal Fillers

We deliver training in foundation and advanced fillers for beginner, through to experienced practitioners. For both medics and non medics

Anti Wrinkle

We deliver training in foundation and advanced anti-wrinkle for beginner, through to experienced practitioners. For both medics and non medics

Mesotherapy & Skin Boosters

We up-skill pre-existing practitioners in boosters, mesotherapy and skin boosters training is available.
